In this video we'll show you how to build a beautiful spring bouquet you can use as a gift or to decorate your home. We use the spiral technique and combine floral materials in different shades — yellow, pink, orange.

What is a spring bouquet, exactly?

A spring bouquet is a floral arrangement made from different flowers and foliage, used to decorate indoor spaces or as a seasonal gift. These bouquets are typically full of fresh, colourful flowers that, as a gift, represent the beauty and renewal of nature during this season.

Spring bouquets often include seasonal flowers like tulips, roses, lilies, daisies, daffodils, gerberas, hyacinths, and peonies, among others. They can also include plant branches or green foliage for texture and contrast.

This kind of bouquet is popular for celebrating spring occasions like weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries — or simply to brighten someone's day. Beyond its beauty, a spring bouquet conveys joy, freshness, and optimism, symbolising nature's awakening after winter and the arrival of a new season full of life and colour.

In the video we used these flowers to build our spring bouquet:

  • Lilium LA: Lilium LA hybrids are characterised by large trumpet-shaped flowers and vibrant colours. Known for their strong fragrance, they come in a wide range of tones — white, yellow, orange, pink, and red.
  • Gerbera: These spring flowers are native to Africa and belong to the daisy family. They stand out for their bright colours and cheerful look. Available in a wide range of tones — red, orange, yellow, pink, and white.
  • Sunflower: The sunflower is known for its large, bright yellow flowers that seem to follow the sun. They represent joy and vitality, and are often associated with summer and the countryside.
  • Lisianthus: An elegant, delicate flower available in a variety of colours, including white, pink, lilac, and blue. Soft petals and layered blooms give it a romantic look.
  • Daisy: Classic, recognisable flowers with white petals and a yellow centre. Known for their simple appearance and symbolism tied to innocence and purity. Daisies appear in bouquets, garden decor, and are often available as cut flowers at florists.
  • Alstroemerias: Also known as Peruvian lilies, alstroemerias are native to South America. Known for their exotic look and striking petals in a wide range of colours — white, yellow, orange, pink, and purple.
  • Eucalyptus (green): A tree known for its aromatic foliage and long green leaves. Widely used in floristry as decorative filler thanks to its pleasant scent and elegant look.
  • Murraya (green): A perennial shrub grown for its dark, glossy green leaves. Known for its citrus scent and fragrant white flowers.
  • Limonium (green): Also called "statice", limonium is a small, delicate flower in shades of white, pink, and purple. Known for its ability to dry and keep its shape and colour for a long time.
  • Blue Star fern: A fern variety with delicate blue-green fronds. Adds a soft, elegant texture to bouquets and arrangements.
