When sending retirement flowers, decide where the person should receive them first: at their workplace farewell or at home. For a team presentation, agree who will take receipt of the bouquet and how the retiree will carry it afterwards. If you cannot arrange that, delivery to their home on an available date may be easier. Choose the flowers around their tastes, not a supposed rule about which bloom means retirement.
Persa prepares bouquets by hand and sends you a photograph of the finished bouquet before dispatch. You see the actual gift that has been prepared; the photograph is not a request for approval before it leaves. Start with the bouquet collection and use the checks below to narrow your choice.
Workplace farewell or delivery at home?
For an office delivery, first check whether the workplace accepts personal parcels, whose name should be on the order, and who can receive it. The basket calendar shows available delivery dates, but the courier does not promise to arrive at the precise time of a speech or party. If the bouquet must appear at a particular event, arrange separately who will have it ready to hand over.
Home delivery is simpler when nobody can receive the flowers at work. Check the recipient's full address and phone number, and make sure someone can accept the delivery. If they are travelling soon after retiring, ask which date suits them. Persa delivers across mainland Spain; the available date and delivery charge appear in the basket.
Two Persa bouquets with different presentations
We checked these product pages and their available variants on 22 October 2026. This comparison uses Persa's listed flowers, wrapping and inclusions. It does not claim measured dimensions or a carrying test.
Coral combines soft coral or orange roses, white lisianthus, green santini, baby's breath and greenery. Its product page lists a glass vase and explains that varieties may change with the season. The Original variant was €70, before delivery. It may suit a home gift for someone who enjoys warm colours. View Coral. Check the selected variant and presentation before paying.
Emma combines lilies, roses, carnations and supporting flowers in white, orange and yellow. It is wrapped in kraft paper and ribbon; its page lists a gift message, flower food and care instructions, with seasonal flower variation. It was €55, before delivery. It is an option if you prefer to hand over a wrapped bouquet and have planned where the retiree will put the flowers afterwards. View Emma. Do not assume it comes with a vase.

If the whole team is giving the gift
Choose one person to check the address and reception arrangements. Another can collect a short thought from each colleague for the card. Avoid saying “after so many years” if you do not know the person's actual career history. For example: “Thank you for what you have taught us and for the time we have shared. Wishing you a new chapter that is entirely your own. From your friends in [team].”
If several people are paying, agree the budget before choosing a variant and check the basket total before adding extras. Let one person place the order so the address, phone number and date do not get scattered across group messages. Share the confirmation with the colleague handling receipt of the bouquet.
For more wording ideas, see our farewell messages for a colleague. That guide helps you write the card; this one helps you choose the bouquet and plan its handover.
Before ordering, confirm the product, variant, person receiving it, address, available date and total cost. Prices and availability can change. Once those details are settled, the congratulations can take centre stage.
